CHALLENGE

Campus faced the challenge of establishing a strong brand as a new initiative. The branding needed to embody the core values of connection and youthfulness. While developing a visual identity it was crucial to ensure it would not only appeal to the target audience but also convey a sense of community and growth.Campus faced the challenge of establishing a strong brand as a new initiative. SOLLUTION

Throughout the process, we found inspiration in the vibrant atmosphere of American university campuses and sports clubs. By combining these influences, we crafted a design radiating a lively sense of youthfulness and connection. Dynamic shapes, bright colors, and a specific font resulted in a visual identity capturing the essence of Campus as a meeting place for students. Emphasizing Campus’s values as a growing and connecting community.

LOGO

Campus’s logo takes inspiration from prominent American sports clubs, with the diamond shape symbolizing the meeting place Campus offers to young adults. A place for learning, working, studying, and growing. The two arrows on either side of the logo symbolize guidance and growth within the Campus environment.

Poster design

Three mascots, each representing a festival day with unique ideas and values, provCampus’s posters serve as powerful communication tools, highlighting the five key pillars: studying, job searching, gap year, networking, and choosing a major. Each pillar is represented by a catchy catchphrase, concluding with “c u @ campus,” with
“c u” as an abbreviation for Campus Uden. The faces of Campus shine on the posters, giving them a vibrant and positive appeal.ided clear differentiation. The donkey, cat, and rabbit symbolize respectively the festival setup, playful adventures, and relaxed conclusion. Each day has its own color and character, enhanced by lively illustrations conveying coherence.

Co-creation

Close Collaboration Resulted in Creative Freedom

One of Campus’s distinctive features is the emphasis on co-creation and close collaboration. Intensive work with interns at Campus resulted in an inspiring exchange of ideas. This collaboration not only provided valuable insights into the target audience’s desires but also fostered creative freedom that enriched the branding. The Campus environment served as a platform for youth to learn and professionals to inspire.
